A Florida journalist from Spectrum News 13 was fatally shot while covering a shooting from earlier in the day by the same gunman, according to authorities. On Thursday, Spectrum News 13 identified the journalist killed as 24-year-old Dylan Lyons.

“No one in our community — not a mother, not a 9-year-old and certainly not news professionals — should become the victim of gun violence in our community,” he said. “And while you’re at it, please say a prayer for every victim of gun violence in this country,” Springer said.
