Indy's Parvo Prevention Project will host the drive-through clinic from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 13 in the parking lot of Friends of Indianapolis Dogs Outside, located at Often known as Parvo, Canine Parvovirus is potentially fatal and affects dogs and other canines. It has been a major concern for pet owners since emerging in the late 1970s. Puppies are most vulnerable to Parvo, though adult dogs can also contract it, and vaccination is the only effective way to prevent the disease, organizers said.
Organizers said dog owners will be able to drive through the clinic, similar to how people received vaccinations during the COVID-19 outbreak.
