The blazes have triggered air quality warnings across multiple provinces and territories, from British Columbia to Quebec and the Northwest Territories. In British Columbia, nearly 115 fires, most sparked by lightning, have led to evacuations near Big Bar Lake and Meadow Lake, with over 500 firefighters deployed.
