A brand new Oppenheimer video for Universal Pictures' biographical drama has been released, teasing Christopher Nolan's next IMAX spectacle.

Its current theatrical release date will see the film going directly up against Greta Gerwig’s live-action Barbie movie starring Margot Robbie. Oppenheimer will also be debuting in the same month as other high-profile projects, including Insidious: The Red Door, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, and Haunted Mansion.Oppenheimer features a star-studded ensemble led by Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer, who’s known as the father of the Atomic Bomb.
“The IMAX-shot epic thriller thrusts audiences into the pulse-pounding paradox of the enigmatic man who must risk destroying the world in order to save it,” reads the logline The film is written and directed by Christopher Nolan, based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book “American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer,” by Kai Bird and the late Martin J. Sherwin. Additional cast includes Dane DeHaan, Jack Quaid, Dylan Arnold, David Krumholtz, Alden Ehrenreich, and Matthew Modine.
