Raids on illicit cannabis grows outside of Peterborough by the Ontario Provincial Police resulted in three arrests and seizure of approximately $3.9 million worth of cannabis and other property.

Cramahe Township locals Faith Forget, 54, and Ronald Forget, 51, as well as Scarborough native Ken Hung Yap, 55, have been arrested and face charges of possession of cannabis, possession of cannabis for the purpose of distribution, cultivating more than four cannabis plants and cultivating at a place other than their own residence.

All three accused have since been released and are scheduled to appear at Cobourg’s Ontario Court of Justice in mid-October.
