The OPP says the public can expect a heavy police presence in the Toledo area as they investigate after a dead body was found on Monday.
The Ontario Provincial Police announced a person was found dead in the “Toledo area” on Monday morning, and that there would be a heavy police presence in region as they conduct an investigation.On Tuesday morning, a group of police vehicles were stationed mid-way down Baker Road, a two-kilometre stretch of rural roadway just south of the village, where it intersects with Dunham Road.
In a news release, police said on July 31, just after 7 a.m., officers responded to a residence where one person was found dead. A postmortem examination was scheduled to determine the cause of death.Article content “The investigation is ongoing and we are waiting on post-mortem results to determine cause of death. We will provide an update when we have more information,” Acting Sgt. Erin Cranton said in an email.
