War and COVID-19 are boosting Canadian agriculture tech – but policy needs fixing

As those challenges subside, Canada is trying to expand its role as a global food supplier. And the innovation required to do so thrives through periods of uncertainty. Reducing fertilizer usage without agtech innovation is simply deciding Canada will grow less food, which means higher grocery prices for Canadians, and more people in less-developed countries suffering from food insecurity.
