The point isn’t that things are peachy in Toronto, and we should stop whining. The point is to try, sometimes, to keep a sense of perspective. The trick is seeing the problems for what they are and addressing them properly so that they don’t continue to get worse. Knowing what’s a crisis, and what needs fixing before it becomes a crisis.
Righty, the need to build housing is an issue of relative consensus among major mayoral candidates. It’s a genuine five-alarm fire we need all hands on deck to put out.
