Opinion: San Diego Pride launches a platform to build equality and equity through an LGBTQ lens [Opinion]
our parade was led by members of our Latinx community as they carried signs with names, ages and faces of the 49 lives we lost at the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, Fla.over 50 leaders from different LGBTQ open and affirming congregations led the Pride parade to combat the ongoing attempts to use religion as a weapon against our community. Over the decades, this organization has grown into more than a weekend of deeply meaningful events.
Economic justice. This is a framework for assessing and building economic systems in a way that creates opportunities for all to thrive. Gender justice. This is a feminist movement to end patriarchy, transphobia and homophobia and to create a world free from misogyny.
