Opinion: If it's not about love, it's not about God. God is love and God loves people who are trans. [Opinion]
If you are willing to be kind, seek out and talk to someone who is trans, gender fluid or nonbinary. Be open. Be curious. Ask questions with a heart and mind willing to learn.
If you are a Christian, think about the fact that every Scripture passage that references homosexuality, less than 1 percent of the Bible, actually condemns sexual violence, rape, exploitation and abuse. These verses do not reflect the loving relationships of two mutually consenting adults. Consider that the Holy Spirit has led the church to give up its so-called biblically based ideas about colonialism, slavery, racism and misogyny.
