If you take a quick snapshot today of the status of professional women’s sports in North America, you might assume only a small dent has been made in the overall sports landscape.
On the other hand, if you pull back and take a photo that would encompass all that has happened this century that has contributed to the growth of women’s pro sports, you might think dizzying progress has been made.Really, events in the past two years alone suggest we are getting close to the end of the beginning for professional women’s sports, and moving into a significant growth period.
