BREAKING; Ontario reports fewest new COVID-19 cases since early March; 18 additional deaths
The seven-day rolling average of new cases now stands at 1,154, down from 1,248 yesterday.were documented across the province.
Across the GTA, Toronto reported 237 new cases, Peel reported 214 new cases, York Region reported 80 new cases and Durham reported 54 new cases.One of the 18 deaths reported Sunday involved a resident of the long-term care system. Provincial labs processed 26,565 test specimens in the previous period, generating a positivity rate of at least 4.2 per cent.
The overall hospitalization count was not complete on Sunday, but the Ministry of Health said 614 people were in intensive care on Sunday, down 12 from Saturday.
