BREAKING: Doug Ford will speak with reporters at 9 a.m. Tuesday to discuss negotiations with education workers.
Education Minister Stephen Lecce will join the premier at 9 a.m. The news conference will be streamed live on CTVNewsToronto.ca and on the CTV News app.Schools reopened on Tuesday after a two-day walkout by the Canadian Union of Public Employees’ , which has roughly 55,000 members.
Laura Walton, president of CUPE’s Ontario School Board Council of Unions, said yesterday the organization of members moved the government to change its mind about using the notwithstanding clause.
