The Ontario government has announced a $325 million investment in water infrastructure projects aimed at enabling the construction of up to 107,000 new homes across the province. This second intake of funding will support 23 projects, bringing the total Ontario investment in the Housing and Emergency Water Security Fund (HEWSF) to nearly $1.3 billion. This funding will support 77 water infrastructure projects, ultimately helping municipalities build approximately 600,000 new homes.
