Drivers are being urged to keep a close eye on the roads as kids return to the classroom over the next few days.
There has been a singifincant increase in traffic volume over the past few months as people return to the office following years of working from home due to the pandemic, Ontario provincial Police Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said. The number of cars on the street will continue to rise now othat students are returning to school in September.
“They’re looking forward to one thing and it’s not necessarily the traffic, so just as a driver be extra careful.”
