Rochester, N.Y. — Police said a man found dead outside an apartment complex over the weekend was stabbed to death during an argument inside a car.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting Sunday around 8 p.m. outside the Pinnacle Place apartments on South Clinton Avenue and found Myron Fair, 53, with a stab wound to the chest.Investigators determined Fair was sitting in the passenger seat of a car in the entrance loop to the apartment complex when he got into an argument with the driver, Mark Burdick, 54, of Clinton Springs, who stabbed him in the chest.
Police spotted Burdick's vehicle around 7 p.m. Monday on Murray Street and tried to stop it. Burdick allegedly put the car in reverse and drove the wrong way down the street but stopped after striking a curb and was taken into custody. Burdick is charged with murder and was arraigned Tuesday morning in Rochester City Court. He's being held in Monroe County Jail without bail.
