Ontario Attorney General Doug Downey said the province has "imminent decisions being held up" by the federal government on the Highway 413 and on Ontario Place projects, and is looking for the court to intervene.Attorney General of Ontario Doug Downey said Tuesday that the province is asking the court to prevent the federal government from intervening on Highway 413, Ontario Place and other provincial projects.
"We need the federal government to respect these processes and not stand in the way of critical projects," said Downey. But Downey said their response has "created unnecessary confusion" and is "unacceptable." And while the province is open to speaking with the federal government outside of the courts, Downey says it's filing with the court Tuesday.
