The release date for Only Murders in the Building season 3 has seemingly been revealed by Steve Martin during his comedy tour alongside Martin Short.
Steve Martin has seemingly let slip the release date for Only Murders in the Building season 3. The mystery comedy-drama series debuted on Hulu in 2021, following three true crime podcast fans and neighbors who start their own podcast while trying to solve a murder in their apartment building. Starring Martin, Selena Gomez, and Martin Short, Only Murders in the Building has been met with critical acclaim, and was renewed for season 3 last year.
According to Variety, Martin mentioned the release date offhandedly during his You Won't Believe What They Look Like Today! comedy tour alongside Short. While sharing what they had been working on lately and showing pictures of their fellow Only Murders in the Building cast members, Martin told the audience to "Catch the new season August 8.

Paul Rudd made his series debut as Ben Glenroy, an actor who is mysteriously murdered during the opening night of a production directed by Oliver Putnam .
Rudd will join the Only Murders in the Building cast after his cameo in the season 2 finale. Meryl Streep joins the season 3 cast as well, along with other series newcomers including Emily in Paris and Broadway star Ashley Park and Grey's Anatomy star Jesse Williams. The roles of Streep and Williams have been kept under wraps, but Park will play a Broadway ingenue named Kimber.
