There's one specific Ted Lasso spinoff show idea that could end up being just as good as the original show, and it's the most obvious option. Apple's Ted Lasso ran for 34 episodes across three seasons and has been the streaming services awards show darling. Even though Apple hasn't confirmed whether Ted Lasso's season 3 finale was the end of the series, many of the storylines were tied up. However, there were a few plot threads and teases that could end up launching spinoffs.
An AFC Richmond Women's Team Spinoff Could Match Ted Lasso Though Ted Lasso season 4 could still happen, a spinoff seems more likely at this point. Thankfully, Apple has a variety of Ted Lasso spinoff ideas to explore, but it will be tough to match the wholesomeness of the original series without feeling too derivative. Director Declan Lowney pitched four Ted Lasso spinoffs, including focuses on Ted coaching in Kansas City and Roy's takeover of AFC Richmond as the new manager.
