Online news bill sets ‘dangerous precedent,’ Google tells MPs cdnpoli tech
The Online News Act would require Google and Facebook parent company Meta to reach commercial deals with publishers. Postmedia, publisher of the National Post, is in favour of the legislation, which is currently in front of the Senate.
