OnHand, a B2B environmental and social impact platform, has just landed $4 million.Check out the 20-slide pitch deck OnHand used to convince investors to back it.

OnHand, founded in 2019, is a gamified B2B platform that encourages employees to take small actions that cut their carbon dioxide or equivalent emissions, from swapping out meat for vegetarian food to using reusable coffee cups. The platform is offered as an employee benefit by companies such as Trainline, Domestic & General, and Channel4, with features like leaderboards and virtual awards.

As well as calculating emissions reductions for employees, OnHand still offers on-demand charity work. It supports a number of causes including helping the elderly and isolated, poverty and homelessness support, and crisis response. In 2022, chief executiveLobo said this is when the company really found product-market fit.

The startup has a current headcount of 20 and plans to increase this to 30 by the end of the year, with roles in technology and commercial up for grabs. Its first big hire will be an impact officer, who will also get the company on the B Corp track.
