Only Aaron Ryan, 28, remains accused of murder and is scheduled for trial. Provincial police conducted a wellness check at a motel on Dundas Street E. on January 7, 2024, where they discovered the deceased individual.

Khadijah Courneyea, 30, pleaded guilty to obstructing a police officer and received a six-month pre-sentence custody sentence, followed by two years of probation. Morgan Belyea, 23, admitted to robbery and was given a 14-and-a-half-month conditional sentence, including five months of house arrest, along with a DNA order, weapons prohibition, and two years of probation. Harold Russell, 44, pleaded guilty to manslaughter and received a four-and-a-half-year sentence, along with a weapons prohibition and DNA order. Steven Courneyea, 27, also pleaded guilty to manslaughter, along with breaking and entering, theft, and possession of stolen property.
