YARMOUTH, N.S. — Gail DeViller took her first line dancing class in 1990. It was a six-week program – not quite long enough to match her passion.
“Above all else, I’d like to say thank you to my husband of 50 years, Roy. He has encouraged me to fulfill my passion to teach and to dance,” she says. “It means the world to me.”I love seeing the joy and smiles on peoples’ faces when they finally get the dance steps. I love the positive comments they give me in return. I love how line dancing gets us all active and socializing with others. It’s good for the heart and soul.My advice is to take it one step at a time. Be patient with yourself.
