One person is in hospital following a collision involving a pedestrian and a driver in downtown Victoria, according to Victoria police.

Around 1:50 p.m. Wednesday, VicPD said officers were investigating the crash. They said Douglas Street was closed at Yates Street, and that traffic would be disrupted in the area.“Our officers are on scene and are investigating. One person has been transported to hospital,” added police. “Significant delays will occur in the area.”
