Cpl. Vanessa Munn said Wednesday that Surrey RCMP is working with the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team on the latest murder.“Both victims were transported to hospital, one has since succumbed to his injuries and the other sustained non-life-threatening injuries.”
A man was fatally shot shortly after 8 p.m. Tuesday in a busy parking lot near 148th Street and 108th Avenue in Surrey.One area resident told Postmedia that he was inside his house with headphones on “but was startled when I heard a very loud sound and commotion outside.”Article content “We’re seeing criminal groups moving throughout B.C., many parts of the country and internationally as they continue to try and expand their networks and illicit businesses, establish alliances and target each other,” RCMP Asst. Commissioner Manny Mann said as charges were announced against Vancouver gangsters in an Okanagan murder.
But other groups are also involved like the Wolfpack coalition and the Red Scorpions. And some of the disputes date back 20 years to a time when some of those now caught in the conflict were not even born.
