They were in Grade 6 when they first started playing together on the Valley Hawks, a club team that went on to win back-to-back division 1 provincial championships. MacVicar’s early memories include attending Development First Basketball camps with their fathers and Dave Wilson. And while the trio is close, many of the Canada Games squad’s players have been teammates for years on provincial teams.
