One in five Brits don’t think Covid lateral flow tests should be free and are ‘willing to pay’ for home kits

The study also found 73 per cent of adults believe it is a ‘waste’ of LFTs to take one every single day.

Despite 29 per cent reporting conflicting results from different LFTs, eight in 10 feel the kits have been vital in the nation’s fight against covid. But more than half have struggled at times to get hold of the kits, as they were ‘out of stock’ at pharmacies and online. Medicspot’s spokesperson added: “The value of the peace of mind given by a negative LFT before meeting people can’t be overstated.
