While a Glee reboot seems unlikely, one former star--Grant Gustin, who played Sebastian of the rival singing group, The Warblers--wouldn't say no to one. 'That was some of the most fun I've ever had. So, I would obviously... love it.'
Former Glee star Grant Gustin said that he would love to return to the series in a potential reboot. The actor, who went on to star in The CW's The Flash, originally appeared in seven episodes of the musical dramedy series. He played the largely villainous Sebastian Smythe, the lead singer of the polished rival glee club known as The Warblers.
E! News recently sat down with Gustin to discuss the final season of The Flash. During the conversation they asked if he would be interested in appearing in a potential reboot of Glee. He enthusiastically said "that was some of the most fun I've ever had. So, I would obviously... love it."Could a Glee Reboot Happen? While a reboot of any popular series is never entirely out of the question, the Glee ensemble cast has had a particularly rocky road.
Another likely reason behind the surviving cast's hesitance to return is the reported on-set behavior of Lea Michele . Several cast members have spoken out against the star, saying she exhibited racist and bullying behavior while filming the series. As much as Gustin had a good time on the series, many of the people who were around longer had more sour experiences, as revealed by several cast members including Amber Riley .
Another factor that would prevent a potential Glee reboot from getting off the ground is scheduling. Jane Lynch especially became a huge star off the back of the series and is currently busy on the reboot season of Party Down among other projects. Darren Criss has also become more of a hot commodity after his starring role in American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace; Harry Shum Jr.
