One person has died and several have been injured after a stabbing in Port Alberni on Dec. 2, according to RCMP.
One person is dead and several were injured in a stabbing in Port Alberni on Friday, according to RCMP.
Officers were called to the 3600-block of 4th Avenue where four people were found suffering knife wounds, including one person identified as the suspect, Port Alberni RCMP said in a news release Monday. “We don’t believe there is any risk to the general public, this is an isolated incident,” stated Const. Richard Johns.
“Officers from our Major Crime Section spent the night investigating and will continue until all of the details have been unearthed. A spokesperson for BC RCMP, who did not have access to the file, has since said they will pass along those questions to the Port Alberni detachment.
