Actress Sophie Turner has often gravitated toward steadfast and fierce women in her work. “I’m always inspired,” she tells The Run-Through over Zoom. “If I have a bad day, I’m like, Bring out your inner Sansa.” She is referring, of course, to Sansa Stark, the steely character she played for many years on the hit series Game of Thrones, but she’s more recently been in character as Joan Hannington for the upcoming series Joan, about the infamous British diamond thief.
But rather than hide out from it all, Sophie has handled the ordeal with poise, looking steadily ahead to her future with her daughters. In addition to acting, Sophie is also a Louis Vuitton ambassador—and a good friend of Nicolas’s—so she and Chioma chat about their favorite LV shows, and the fact that the ambassadors have a star-studded WhatsApp group chat.
