Olympian Ilona Maher showed off her strength as 'Encanto' character Luisa on 'Dancing With the Stars' Disney Night, scoring her first nine of the season.
Despite judge Carrie Ann Inaba mixing up her paddles multiple times, the Olympic bronze medalist landed her first nine on Disney Night.with over seven years of experience in the entertainment industry. Judge Bruno Tonioli had his own Disney poem for Maher, asking "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the strongest one of all? You are! Inaba mildly agreed, but she praised Maher for embodying the character of Luisa and the message of the song, showing women that strength is beautiful too.
The duo also danced on Team Goofs in the night's team dance face-off, and Maher celebrated the opportunity to feel part of a team again. The team earned straight nines across the board, and 27 points were added to each couple's total score.
