A lesson in monochrome dressing:

On Monday, the actress attended a screening of "Booksmart," a film she directed, in a decidedly un-springy corduroy suit.
With wide-leg trousers and rhinestone detailing at the lapels and pockets, the crimson-colored Dundas suit — reminiscent of the sexy tailored looks Tom Ford designed for Gucci in the '90s — would have made plenty of impact on its own. However, Wilde and Welch went full-on fashion flex by pairing it with a brighter, poppy-colored silk blouse . The overall effect was monochrome, but in an ever-so-slightly-clashing way.
To lend a bit of contrast to all of that tailoring, Wilde went classically feminine with her beauty look, wearing her hair in loose waves with a deep, side-swept part and sharp, exaggerated cat eyes . Also in attendance to support Wilde was Jason Sudeikis, who showed up in a blue ombré sweater and a jaunty newsboy hat.
