Death row inmate who brutally killed two hotel workers is executed after feasting on sesame chicken and six egg rolls

Donald Grant, 46, died after a lethal injection in the Oklahoma State Penitentiary at approximately 10.16 am on Thursday in the nation's first execution of 2022. Grant killed Brenda McElyea, 29, and Felicia Suzette Smith, 43 in July of 2001 so that there would be no witnesses to his robbery of the hotel where they worked.
