Ohio State's Thursday night matchup with Iowa has been postponed due to travel issues for the Hawkeyes and weather concerns in Ohio.

A winter storm in Columbus and travel problems in Iowa have led to the postponement of Thursday night's 8 p.m. tip-off between the Buckeyes and Hawkeyes at the Schottenstein Center, per a release from Ohio State Thursday morning.

Ohio State's home matchup with Iowa tonight has been postponed"due to Iowa travel cancellations and inclement weather in the Midwest," per a release from Ohio State.Iowa experienced a mechanical issue with its team plane Wednesday night, delaying its travels until Thursday morning, but the weather in Ohio forced the Hawkeyes to call off their trip. Ohio State canceled in-person classes on Thursday due to the storm.

Ohio State now has two postponed Big Ten games to reschedule, as the Buckeyes’ Jan. 22 game against Nebraska was also postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak at Nebraska. The Buckeyes’ non-conference games against Kentucky, New Orleans and UT Martin in December were also canceled due to a pause in team activities at Ohio State following a COVID outbreak within the Buckeye program.
