Safety Ronnie Hickman, who is participating in Ohio State's Senior Day festivities on Saturday, plans to enter the NFL draft at the end of the season.
The other 22 players who will beagainst the Wolverines are all seniors in eligibility. No other fourth-year juniors such as linebackers Tommy Eichenberg and Steele Chambers and tight end Cade Stover are walking onto the field for recognition.
Lining up as the strong safety, he has 48 tackles, an interception and five pass break-ups through 11 games. “Everyone’s clock starts ticking at a certain point,” Hickman said. “At some point it’s going to be time for everyone to take the next step, and I think that’s now.”
