Secretary of State Frank LaRose is quarantining after testing positive for COVID-19, days after he met with Gov. DeWine and other members of the Ohio Redistricting Commission during an hours-long meeting to negotiate and approve new state legislative maps.
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Secretary of State Frank LaRose is quarantining after testing positive for COVID-19 on Monday, days after he met with Gov. Mike DeWine and other members of the Ohio Redistricting Commission during an hours-long meeting to negotiate and approve new state legislative maps.
The governor is not quarantining himself since he was not in close contact with LaRose on Saturday, according to Dan Tierney, a governor’s office spokesman. LaRose set near Russo during the meeting as well as several staffers for the Senate Democratic caucus.and The Plain Dealer. “I even went on a 6.5 mile run on Sunday evening, but after continuing to experience some very mild symptoms, I figured it was best to take a test and be sure.”
