Brian Trissel, 51, of Columbus, is charged with pandering obscenity involving a minor, tampering with evidence, and voyeurism, according to Franklin County Municipal Court records.
GRANDVIEW HEIGHTS, Ohio — A Columbus man was arrested Monday after he hid cameras in a child’s home in order to record the victim nude, police say.
Brian Trissel, 51, is charged with pandering obscenity involving a minor, tampering with evidence, and voyeurism, according to Franklin County Municipal Court records. He is being held in the Franklin County jail. Police say the victim, whose age and gender were not released, told another person on Aug. 31 they had discovered what they believed to be hidden cameras in their residence in Grandview Heights, a suburb of Columbus. The cameras reportedly were set up to record the victim in a “private setting” and in “various states of nudity.”Evidence recovered by detectives identified Trissel as a suspect, police say.
Police did not say how Trissel knows the child, but said there is no evidence there are other victims.
