Odell Beckham Jr. undergoing ‘medical phase’ of Dallas Cowboys visit
Beckham hasn’t played since suffering a torn ACL in Super Bowl LVI on Feb 13. A person with knowledge of the situation said the Cowboys need to determine the condition of Beckham’s knee and if it makes financial sense. The Cowboys are of the belief Beckham wants a multi-year deal, in comparison to a one-year contract.Last week, on Thanksgiving, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones told reporters that he spoke with Beckham before the game.
Players like linebacker Micah Parsons and defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence have reached out to Beckham publicly with Twitter posts.Jones was asked Sunday night if he would sign Beckham without club officials having seen him work out. The Cowboys owner, who has been known to take reporters on confusing verbal trips, began talking about how sometimes you have to be comfortable doing what’s uncomfortable.“So I’m going to be looking for a reason to do it, not reasons not to do it.
