Former President Barack Obama will speak on police violence Wednesday as protests continue across the U.S.
The My Brother’s Keep Alliance is hosting a live town hall, “Reimagining Policing in the Wake of Continued Police Violence,” with Obama and several panelists, including former Attorney General Eric Holder.
The MBK Alliance, part of the Obama Foundation, was started by the former president in 2014 to address the opportunity gaps faced by young men and boys of color.It comes as protests over the death of George Floyd, an unarmed black man who died while being pinned by a Minneapolis police officer last week, continue in cities across the country.
