across the state, still fresh in New Jerseyans’ minds, one forecaster said there really isn’t much to worry about in terms of the impacts in the Garden State. “As of right now, we don’t even have any particulates getting into New Jersey,” Cameron Wunderlin, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service Mount Holly, told NJ Advance Media.

Wunderlin said any smoke that gets brought down will be south of New Jersey, into the Delaware/Maryland area and also possibly in western upstate New York., he said.According toNew Jersey’s air quality was expected to be in the “good” or “moderate” levels. When the smoke from the Canadian wildfires was carried here by a low pressure systems earlier this month, the air quality reached its worst level, dubbed by AirNow as “hazardous.”
