“ morning, we also gave up a few big ends. The ice was a little tricky. You miss a few, and the ice is so curly that you get rocks buried. We just had a few ends better. But we do play aggressive.” Before last year’s success, the only time an NWT rep qualified for the playoffs at the national championship came way back in 1983 — long before Galusha, now 45, arrived on the scene — but that rink hailed from the Yukon as the combined Territories representative.
