Nvidia's results could signal whether the tech firm’s shift to supplying chips to data centers is working
Chip maker Nvidia Corp. is expected to report fiscal second-quarter earnings after the market closes Thursday. The results come as Nvidia tries to broaden its market reach from being a dominant seller of graphics chips used by computer gamers into furnishing equipment to huge data centers amid a boom in cloud computing.
