Just when the Nuggets bring back one forward, another gets sidelined.

The same night that Michael Porter Jr. returned to the lineup, forward Jeff Green suffered a left finger sprain and hand fracture in the second half of Friday’s 120-107 win over the Portland Trail Blazers.

The injuries will keep Green out at least a month, with the team saying he would be re-evaluated in four weeks. It is possible Green was hurt when he collided with a Portland player on a screen. He did not immediately come out of the game. The veteran forward has appeared in 24 games for the Nuggets, starting three, while averaging 7.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.1 assists over 19.3 points per game.

Pretty sure the play in question actually happened late in the third quarter. Green didn't come out until five minutes into the fourth. Here's the immediate aftermath. Believe he hurt it on a screen.
