Health-care services, appointments and procedures will remain operational across the province, it said."Nova Scotia joins the Government of Canada and other provinces recognizing September 19 as a day to honour and pay tribute to the life and legacy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II," said Premier Tim Houston in the release.
The federal government announced earlier Tuesday that it plans to declare Monday a national holiday and a day of mourning for the monarch's death, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said.
