The Summer Studentship Program allows health-care students to get relevant summer employment

NOSM University is inviting health agencies across Northern Ontario to apply for funding through the Summer Studentship Program, an initiative that allows health-care students get relevant work experience in their fields of study.

The program provides funding for summer placements in Northern Ontario based agencies that provide work for the medical learners that is relevant to their studies. Northern Ontario-based agencies looking to hire health-care learners for the summer of 2024 may seek approval by completing the online Summer Studentship Program Agency Application Form from Nov. 1, 2023 to Jan. 1, 2024.

Learners will be invited to apply for summer placements with approved agencies in winter 2024 through the NOSM University application process.
