The mailboxes in the 13-storey Q building at 124 West 1st Street were forced open with a crowbar

North Vancouver RCMP are asking the public for help in identify three masked men who were caught on video breaking into a panel of mailboxes at a condominium building during the early morning of Feb. 17.Police say the masked bandits, who were all dressed in black and wearing gloves, fled the scene in a silver SUV.

DeVries says fraudsters have a recipe for identity theft, and mail theft is one way they gather the information — such as names, social insurance numbers, driver’s licence numbers, personal identification numbers, signatures and banking details — they need.
