Police are warning those who are operating a gas-powered bike on roads, trails, highways, or sidewalks in North Bay they could be charged with: Operating a motor vehicle without insurance, which can result in a court appearance and a fine ranging from a minimum of $5,000 to a maximum of $25,000 on a first offence. Subsequent offences could result in a fine ranging from a minimum of $10,000 to a maximum of $50,000.
