North Atlantic will be managing partner for new jointly-owned entity, North Sun Energy
North Atlantic has struck a deal with Suncor Energy's fuel retailer, Petro-Canda, that will see the two businesses combine their gas station and convenience store operations in Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. — Andrew Robinson/The TelegramST. JOHN'S, N.L.
North Atlantic is known for its Orange Store brand, which was launched in 2008 in Newfoundland and Labrador to operate as the convenience store for North Atlantic gas stations, while Suncor's fuel retail business is handled via Petro-Canada. "There will be, potentially, some sites that we may rebrand, but we're looking to add some additional sites to the network under the Petro-Canada brand," he said.
"We see an opportunity to grow both the North Atlantic and the Petro-Canada brand, and we'd look to add to that number of 110 ."
