In June 2023, a DeKalb County jury found the man guilty of 15 counts of sexual crimes.

A Dekalb County judge Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2023, sentenced Travis Eugene Wolfe to 220 years in prison for child sex crimes. A DeKalb County man was sentenced Wednesday to 220 years in prison for child sex crimes.

Travis Eugene Wolfe, 36, was found guilty in June of two counts of second degree rape; four counts of second degree sodomy; six counts of second degree sexual abuse; enticing a child for sexual acts; sexual extortion, and first-degree sexual abuse.Circuit Judge Shaunathan Bell ordered each of the sentences to run consecutively. Ninth Circuit District Attorney Summer Summerford said Wolfe committed the acts against the same minor victim on multiple occasions.

“We are thankful for the maximum sentences passed down in these cases,” Summerford said. “This should serve as an example and warning to child predators that sexual crimes against children will not be tolerated within our community. Justice was served thanks to the courage and bravery of the victim and her family, as well as the efforts of law enforcement.
