Nominating a person or team for an Inspiring Possibilities Award is an opportunity to highlight inclusion and acceptance and to empower people with intellectual disabilities, CEO Chris Beesley says
In celebration of the people and organizations making a positive impact on the 100,000 people with intellectual disabilities and their families, Community Living Ontario’s Inspiring Possibilities Awards are now open for nominations.
Winners will have the opportunity to attend the awards ceremony at CLO’s Inspiring Possibilities AGM and conference in Ottawa Sept. 27 to 29. The awards will be presented by CBC personality and keynote speaker Ali Hassan. “Honouring trailblazers through our Inspiring Possibilities Awards offers an opportunity to highlight inclusion and acceptance and to empower people with intellectual disabilities,” said Chris Beesley, CEO of Community Living Ontario, in a news release. “Nominees and award winners alike illustrate the ability to affect societal change in positive and innovative ways.” Nominations will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. on Aug. 10, 2023.
